ANNUAL FOOT RACE - Comox Valley Road Runners' 42nd Annual Comox Nautical Days 4-miler. The oldest continuous foot race in British Columbia! All ages welcome.

 

BUILD, BAIL & SAIL - Sponsored by Central Builders Home Hardware. A flotilla of boats built on site using only hand tools over 3 1/2 hours. Paddle, row or sail around a course in Comox Harbour - Staying afloat is often enough to win the race!

 

BULLHEAD DERBY - The largest catch-and-release kid's fishing derby in the Pacific Northwest. Last year's derby drew nearly 500 young and young-at-heart participants angling for top honours in categories ranging from largest fish to strangest catch. Participants supply their fishing pole, barbless hooks and bait; Nautical Days provides the jovial spirit of friendly competion.

 
CANOE JOUSTING - Remember King Arthur's Court? Two-man teams - a paddler and a jouster - combine agility, balance, teamwork, speed and striking power to stay afloat. Last one standing wins. registration just before the event at the information booth. Sponsored by Simon's Cycles and Engrave It!  
CAPTAIN CRACKER'S FAMILY DANCE - Two evenings of music, dance and good times, featuring live performances by some of the Comox Valley's top artists.  
CAR SHOW - Sponsorerd by Finneron Hyundai and Courtenay Auto Supply. Comox Marina east parking lot.
CEREMONY OF THE FLAGS - The Sunset Ceremony of the Flags performed by H.M.C.S. Quadra staff and cadets. The Canadian Naval Sunset Ceremony is a composite of customs whose history and traditions began in the 1600s. The parade begins with the Fanfare and march, and is followed by the Commander's inspection of the ship's division.  
DRAGON BOAT RACES - Dragon Boat teams of 20 paddlers, a sweep (steersman) & drummer race sleek shells along Comox Habour Breakwater. "Hear the drums, feel the spirit, see the action!"  
"ELVIS" IS IN THE HOUSE - "The memories & magic of the King!" Steve Elliot - Canadian Grand Champion Elvis Tribute Artist - is back in the house for three sensational performances: The Gospel of Elvis, Elvis's "Rock-a-Billy" Family Show and Viva Las Vegas!  
FESTIVAL CEREMONY - Featuring O'Canada by the Forbidden Men's Barbershop Quartet.
INTERDENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE - Led by Comox Valley Ministerial. More than 1,000 worshippers attended last year's service! Bring your own lawn chairs to the Main Stage at the Comox Marina.
KIDS FESTIVAL - Captain Cracker & Buckles the Life Jacket, together with M.C. Rob Petrie invite kid's of all ages to the main stage for children's entertainers: Tickles & Yowza; 2009 Comedy Magican of the Year Donald Dunphy; bouncers, kid's rides, face art, photo booth, games and races.  
MAINSTAGE ENTERTAINMENT - Featuring shows every afternoon by some of the Comox Valley's top performers.  
NAUTICAL DAYS PARADE - Starts at Rodello, turns at Stewart to Marina Park.  
PANCAKE BREAKFAST - Start all three mornings off right! Featuring live entertainment; Saturday & Sundays' breakfasts sponsored by Strathcona Sunrise Rotary, Monday's breakfast sponsored by Kinsmen.
PET PARADE - Sponsored by 97.3 the Eagle. Bring your pet down to Marina Park! for Captain Cracker's Pet Parade. Dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, birds, pigs, sheep, ponies, snakes & lizards - everyone welcome! Which pet will be the biggest? smallest? tallest? shortest? Which owner looks most like their pet? Prizes for everyone - Fun for all!  
QUALITY FOODS FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS FIREWORKS DISPLAY -
A spectacular choreographed fireworks display, simulcast on 97.3 The Eagle! The biggest fireworks display on Vancouver Island!
